ART DIRECTION
Rythm and ritual
The Challenge
How do you capture a ritual, not just a hunt?
An upland hunt is more than the moment a bird takes flight. It’s the preparation, patience, trust, and tradition surrounding it. The challenge was to capture that full rhythm while creating a visual world that felt distinctly CZ: honest, patient, devoted, and grounded in the experience of a day afield.
The Solution
I shaped the creative direction around a simple narrative: Arrival. Preparation. Movement. Patience. Anticipation. Action. Reflection. From opening the tailgate at dawn to walking back through the field at closing light, each image became part of one continuous experience—allowing the firearms to live naturally within the hunt—rather than simply being showcased.
